What Next?

If you have made it this far, then chances are you have been referred to me by a friend or we have already met.
I don't advertise this site. The vast majority of my work comes through word of mouth referrals.

My approach with a new client is normally as follows:

  • Meet for an initial consultation.
  • Agree on a small, fixed price job such as a prototype and/or draft design.
  • Continue to work in small timeboxed phases that contribute to a longer term goal.
  • Each phase will have a fixed price and timeframe.
  • Each phase will produce a defined set of deliverables. (Eg. Documents, prototypes or working software.)

This approach allows the project to progress without the stresses, overheads and delays of a single, fixed price contract.
My experience has shown that long design documents and contracts are almost worthless, if they are not backed up with mutual trust and respect.
Trust and respect needs to be built up over time.
